Kiwi Self Storage Newlands, was recently expanded to increase the number of self storage units available. During this expansion solar panels providing 10KW of electricity were installed on the roof. This installation is expected to reduce electricity usage at this facility by up to 15%. Further solar installations are planned to begin soon at some of our facilities in Auckland. Planned system sizes could be around 30-70KW.
Our Newlands self storage facility is situated at the top of Ngauranga Gorge off Newlands Road. Our driveway starts near the offramp from the Newlands Interchange. This storage centre is very convenient for customers from Porirua to Karori and the Hutt Valley to the CBD.

I rented storage from Kiwi Self Storage - Newlands for over a year and sincerely recommend them to anyone reading this for peace of mind. The site is well run, the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and I never had any problems accessing my unit whenever I needed to. I lost the keys to both of my storage units and it was solved by them no problem. Thank you to the whole team for helping me out and providing great service from the first day until the last.
Excellent service all round. The facility is very well run and well maintained, the security is great and everything is easy to access. The team at Newlands are absolutely fantastic. We used the facility for 10 months in the process of selling the family home and then renting till we bought somewhere smaller. Our storage needs changed several times during the process and the lovely team were always kind and helpful - helping us to find solutions. We absolutely recommend them.
